Dr. Debra Savitt is the Director of the Dancing Light Spiritual Center. Dr. Debra Savitt, is a Chiropractor and Holistic Health Instructor. We presently have 12 trained volunteers who will be teaching classes on Non-Violent Communication.
Training program
Dr. Marshall Rosenberg's nine hour course on Non-Violent Communication based out of Sante Fe, New Mexico is taught at Dance In The Light in Rancho Mirage. Go to the website
Nonviolentcommunication.org for more information. This training is held at Dance In The Light by our volunteers. It is a wonderful way to learn empathic listening and compassion to help people during these changing times. The program is also an outreach program to assist teenagers, families, hospitals, and addiction programs. It is an expansive program to develop inner strength empowerment and compassion. This paves the way for a greater understanding of differences that exist in each of us which can lead the way to a more peaceful society.
Dance In The Light, Inc. holds training programs twice a month to become a Loving Listener of Light based on the principles and training of Non- Violent Communication.
In addition, Lani Long, M.F.T. of Deep Canyon Counseling in Palm Desert and Kathy Duguid, M.F.T. in Palm Springs teach a monthly 2 hour course for all volunteers and Spiritual Practitioners.
All courses are mandatory to become a volunteer.
